Your air is unbalanced.
Dorm rooms, apartments, motor homes, and hostels consistently rank among the worst indoor environments. Unsurprisingly they also offer the least flexibility when it comes to controlling your air.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Air comfort ≠ temperature.
On top of being large, heavy, and visually intrusive, air conditioners respond to temperature alone. Other aspects like humidity or air quality are typically controlled through single-purpose devices or even at a building level. But crisp air, like breathing high in the mountains, comes from controlling all of these aspects together.
OUR SOLUTION

Cirrus Air continuously balances temperature, humidity, and air quality to keep one room feeling right — all day, all year.
Incredible portability through miniaturizing the split-system

By separating air handling from heat exhaust, Cirrus Air is compact, under 22 lbs., efficient, and easy to place anywhere in your room, unlike traditional window or “portable” air conditioners.
Air problems don’t exist in isolation.

Dry skin, stale air, temperature swings, and poor sleep are rarely caused by one variable alone. Humidifiers add moisture, air conditioners remove it, purifiers clean particles without addressing circulation or freshness. Without coordination you’re left managing the interactions yourself.

High-efficiency DC compressor and heating coil for temperature control all-year long.

Automatically remove excess moisture through the compressor cycle and add moisture when your air becomes too dry.

Sensors track temperature, humidity, CO₂, and particulates and warns you of any potential issues.

Dual-stage filtration clears dust, odors, and pollutants for noticeably cleaner air.

I’m a Yale engineering student who built Cirrus Air after living with the same problem that Cirrus aims to solve. My dorm room was hot, humid, and poorly ventilated. It was obvious after researching into this project why so many people around me in my dormitory kept getting sick.Fans were just recirculating warm, dusty, CO2 filled air and there was no real way to fix the room itself.
Truly, thank you for taking interest in a project that genuinely matters to me.I’ll be transparently sharing updates and progress with everyone on the Kickstarter page once Cirrus Air goes live. :)
